Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Clinchy mobile application, published by {{PUBLISHER_NAME}}, available on iOS and Android.

2. Account creation and security

You can create an account with email and password, or via Google. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity performed from your account. A verification email may be required.

3. Minimum age

Autonomous use of Clinchy is reserved for people aged {{MIN_AGE}} or older. Younger children can use Kid Mode 🧸, only inside the account of a parent who creates and administers the space.

4. Usage rules

You agree not to post illegal, abusive content, or content infringing on others' rights in mission titles, rewards or any other free-text field of the app, and to respect other members of your spaces.

5. Role of space administrators

A space's administrator can approve join requests, promote or remove a member, transfer administration, and delete the space. A space's creator is its administrator by default.

6. Subscriptions

Clinchy offers two paid plans: Pro ({{PRICE_PRO}} / month) and Family ({{PRICE_FAMILY}} / month). Payment is charged by the platform (Apple App Store or Google Play) at purchase, then at each renewal, unless cancelled.

• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24h before the renewal date.
• Cancellation happens exclusively from your App Store or Google Play account settings — never from within the app itself.
• No prorated refund is issued by Clinchy upon cancellation mid-period.
• Refund policy is handled exclusively by Apple or Google, depending on the purchase platform.

7. Advertising

The free tier shows ads (banners and rewarded ads). Pro and Family subscribers see none.

8. Intellectual property

Clinchy, its logo, its wordmark and its editorial content are the property of {{PUBLISHER_NAME}} or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

9. Service availability and no warranty

Clinchy is provided "as is". We strive to keep the service continuously available, without guaranteeing an absence of interruptions or errors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, {{PUBLISHER_NAME}} shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from the use, or inability to use, Clinchy.

11. Termination

You may stop using Clinchy at any time and delete your account from the Delete account page. We may suspend or terminate an account's access in case of a clear breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law and mediation

These Terms are governed by the law of {{JURISDICTION}}. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought first; failing that, you may turn to a competent consumer mediator.

13. Apple-specific clause

If you downloaded Clinchy from the App Store, you acknowledge that this agreement is between you and {{PUBLISHER_NAME}} only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Clinchy or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you in that capacity.
